Singapore Telecom Ltd says it will reduce by up to 18% its rates for International Direct Dialling calls to Japan, the UK, the US and 40 other destinations in Europe and Asia. The rate cuts, effective from April 1 1996, will lower the weighted average collection rate by about 3.4%. Rates to Japan, the UK and the US were last cut in 1994.
