Manufacturing Information Systems has released a new manufacturing business management system called Small Business Manufacturing, designed to optimize operations at small manufacturing plants.
MISys says Small Business Manufacturing (SBM) is capable of managing raw materials inventory, work in process, multi-level bills of material, and BOM revision control for manufacturing firms with fewer than 75 employees.
Core functionality includes comprehensive stock transfer, physical inventory, cost rollup functions, production work orders, a simple-to-use manufacturing planning facility, and user-configurable alerts which mine critical manufacturing data and suggest appropriate responses. Advanced Purchasing and Bin Tracking are available as extra-cost options.
This new software is being sold directly by MISys and cooperatively with Intuit, Microsoft, Sage, SAP, and Softrak channel partners.
