Motorola Inc’s Information Systems Group is looking to sell its entire transmission products division, including the modem business, according to a report in PC Week magazine. Motorola is reportedly taking bids on its line of ISDN terminal adapters as well as its external, internal and corporate modems, the magazine said, and has apparently hired investment bank Goldman, Sachs & Co to handle the sale. Motorola could not be reached for comment on the matter.
