Motorola Inc has reportedly sued its former president Mike Zafirovski over his new role as chief executive of Nortel Networks Corp, for allegedly breaking the terms of the non-compete clauses of his employment contract.
The company claims that Zafirovski accepted millions of dollars in compensation in exchange for agreeing to those clauses, and that he would reveal trade secrets to Nortel in his new position.
Nortel is expected to pursue a settlement.
