MTV has launched ‘Wulffmorgenthaler’, a series of short animations for mobile phones.
Based on the comic strip of the same name, the series of 20 shorts has been launched via MTV’s video on demand and mobile television channels across Europe, Australia, and the US. MTV currently has 20 mobile TV channels in 19 countries.
For eight weeks the cartoons will be available exclusively via mobile before rolling out across broadband, including MTV’s ‘Overdrive’ format.
The Wulffmorgenthaler animations are the latest of MTV’s made-for-mobile productions, which includes ‘Head and Body’, produced in partnership with Motorola.
