NCI, a provider of IT, engineering, and professional services and offerings to US Federal Government agencies, has been awarded a contract for the Rapid Response-Third Generation (R2-3G) Program.
The R2-3G program is a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC).
The IDIQ has a five-year period of performance and has a total ceiling price of $16.4bn for all awardees and is a new contract for NCI.
NCI and its business partners will provide technology insertion, system integration and installation, fabrication/prototyping, testing and certification, studies and analyses, logistic support services, training and engineering support services, including re-engineering and reverse engineering, for a range of equipment and services.
The contract is available to Department of Defense and other Federal, State and Local Government agencies.
NCI pesident Terry Glasgow said the R2-3G contract is an important program for CECOM and their customers as they address their critical mission areas, especially at a time when they are relocating from Fort Monmouth New Jersey to the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.
