NCR Corp has signed a marketing alliance with Persoft Inc of Madison, Wisconsin under which Persoft will provide communications software that connects NCR WaveLAN wireless local area networks to existing Ethernet networks: the Intersect Concentrator software directs communication between WaveLAN wireless workstations and the wired local area network segments; it will be available next month at $5,000, which includes the software and a standard Ethernet board to connect an existing wired network.
