NEC Corp is expanding its base in Telford, Shropshire with another factory, to make 24-pin matrix printers: the plant, costing UKP17m, will bring to UKP53m the Japanese frim’s investment in the town, and will employ 90 people to start with, rising to 200 at capacity.
