NEC Corp is to stop selling its Mate server series in Japan, and instead will market its Express services, on an international basis, reports the Nihon Keizai Shimbun. The Japanese company has just announced that three models in the Express 5800 personal computer server range, loaded with four, six and eight microprocessors have beaten data processing speed records held by Acer Inc, Fujitsu Ltd and Data General Corp.
