Digital Equipment Corp has new software that will enable Sun Microsystems Inc workstations to connect to its Network Application Support architecture, the middleware bridge between applications and systems for users to access information anywhere on the network regardless of operating system or network topology: NAS 250 for SunOS doesn’t give Suns full NAS server capabilities, but it does enable NAS-compliant applications running on Sun systems to be accessed.
