The Hermos Beach, California-based Newbury Data Inc US arm of DRI Holdings Plc of Slough, Berkshire, has beaten home player Maxtor Corp to a $10m OEM contract from Zenith Data Systems for NDR 1140 140Mb 25mS access 5.25 disk drives. The drives are to be packaged as upgrade kits for the Zenith Data Z-248 AT-alike.
