Norwegian minimaker Norsk Data A/S, which has emphatically fallen from grace after a remarkable record of sustained annual growth in turnover and profits, now says that it will not meet its minimum objective of breaking even for 1988. Norsk says now that it expects to report losses of up to $7.5m for the full year but that compares with a loss of $18.5m in the first half of 1988; the firm again blames poor performance in its Norwegian home market.
