Norwegian telecommunications firm Nera ASA has won a contract from France’s Matra Marconi Space Ltd to deliver satellite-based turnkey communications systems for handheld and fixed Groupe Speciale Mobile compatible systems. The deal could generate revenues of between $70m and $140m over the next two years, the Oslo-based company said.
