Nynex Mobile Communications Inc has introduced a Wireless ModemAccess service to make it easier to make modem connections throughout Nynex Corp’s cellular communications network: Wireless ModemAccess eliminates the need to upgrade or replace modems in a host computer in order to transmit over a cellular network and is currently available in the New York metropolitan area, and will be expanded to Boston, Rhode Island and Albany early this year.
