Dallas, Texas-based ObjectSpace Inc has a new release of its ObjectMetrics module for gathering and analysing statistics on code development. The module, one of four offered by ObjectSpace, is designed to work with ParcPlace VisualWorks 1.0 and 2.0, VisualWorks/Envy (integrated with Object Technology Inc’s code management system), Visual Smalltalk 3.0 and ObjectSpace’s own ObjectCatalog code re-use system. It costs $1,000 for five users. The module includes a metrics analysis tool for graphically illustrating technical comparisons between projects and applications.
