Oracle Corp says it is now shipping its Oracle7 co-operative-server database management system to Unix customers worldwide under HP-UX, AIX on IBM Corp’s RS/6000, DC/OSx on Pyramid Technology Corp machines, under Dynix/ptx on Sequent Computer Systems Inc Symmetries, and under SunOS. The release includes optional modules for distributed database, parallel processing support and procedural extensions.
