The Liverpool-based AAH Holdings Plc Group’s distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceuticals to hospitals and chemists, AAH Pharmaceuticals, now reckons to be conducting over half of its business with suppliers using Pharmanet, the INS Ltd Electronic Data Interchange service: AAH Pharmaceuticals claims to have benefitted from all that advocates of EDI enthuse over, such as reduced costs, greater error freedom and better control of business procedures; and as a sign of intent, AAH Pharmaceuticals has stated its intention to trade electronically with all of its 300-plus major suppliers within two years.
