Oxygen Software Ltd has announced it has become the first developer of phone managing software whose product has been certified for use in Symbian smartphones.
The Moscow, Russia-based company said the release of Oxygen Phone Manager II for Smartphones v2.10 accommodates the latest trends in smartphone design and extends its support to Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition phones.
Symbian said it introduced its certification program to promote best practice in application development. Symbian Signed applications install without a warning and conform to the Symbian quality standard.
Oxygen said its Oxygen Phone Manager II for Smartphones backs up, synchronizes, and interactively manages the contents and settings of a phone. With it, it said you can access everything from the phonebook or calendar to connectivity logs and installed applications, and can also move the data between different phone models in a few minutes.
