Pegasus Communications Corp, operator of eight television stations and the largest DirecTV broadcast satellite network in the US, says it will acquire five independent DirecTV providers collectively serving 18,200 customers for approximately $33.9 million in cash and $3.1 million in deferred payments. The acquired territories comprise more than 250,000 television households in three states.
