Schrack-Ericsson Ltd of Warsaw, Poland has won a $26m contract to set up a nationwide digital communications network for Telbank AG, one of Poland’s largest banks and a subsidiary of the Polish National Bank: the order is for a complete nationwide communications network, including the Ericsson Eripax X25 data network system, the MD110 PABX, digital multiplexers and digital radio relay systems; Schrack-Ericsson is the Polish subsidiary of Schrack Telecom AG, based in Vienna, is jointly owned by L M Ericsson Telefon AB, 33%, national banks, 49%, and private interests.
