Polaroid Corp is becoming a big fish in the $250m to $300m a year disk copying, packaging and distribution services business: the instant photographer has just revealed that it bought Media Duplication Services Inc from Control Data on undisclosed terms in April, and reckons it now has 10% of the market: the former CDC unit employs 30 people in Hopkinton, Massachusetts and Irvine, California, and does a very vague $5m to $10m a year.
