Looks as if Portugal Telecom SA really is going to join the Concert alliance of British Telecommunications Plc and MCI Communications Inc. Even the Financial Times now believes it, reporting that Portugal Telecom has held talks with Concert since last week and has been offering a stake of up to 5%.
