The US General Services Administration has duly nullified Perot Systems Inc’s non-profit contract with the US Postal Service on the grounds that the latter had not put the thing out to tender when it knew others would be interested, and had not given an adequate justification for awarding the contract on a sole-source basis: Perot and the Postal Service are already asking a Federal appeals court in Washington to rule that the contract is outside the General Services Administration’s jurisdiction.
