PSINet Inc has launched a major drive to capture business customers in Europe with new headquarters in Switzerland, local sales offices and regional customer support facilities. Volker Kleinn, president of European operation said: The internet marketplace in Europe is developing much faster than it did in North America and is less homogenous. Meeting this exploding demand requires both agility and willingness to commit significant resources to meet a broader range of customer needs. The company has recently established subsidiaries in France and Italy and a 200-strong technical support center is planned.
