R R Donnelley & Sons Co of Chicago has formed a joint venture with IBM France SA, R R Donnelley France SA: the venture will operate IBM’s Publications Centre in Orleans, doing print procurement, demand printing for data processing and publication for European distribution, and supports users of IBM’s Master Series publishing environment; Donnelley will use its Digital Page Imaging to link Donnelley France to plants in Thorp Arch and Cumbernauld, UK; Dublin; and Apeldoorn, Netherlands.
