Recognition Equipment Inc, its chief executive and a vice president have been inducted by a Grand Jury on charges of fraud, theft and conspiracy in an attempt to win $400m of US Postal Service equipment contracts: the Dallas company also faces a lawsuit that seeks class action status on behalf of all those who bought its shares between December 11 1985 and this month, alleging the company broke US securities laws and made fraudulent public statements about efforts to land the postal contract.
