Red Hat Inc has reported a 225% increase in income on the back of subscription and services growth, during the company’s second fiscal quarter.
For the three-month period to August 31, Red Hat saw net income of $11.8m, on sales that grew 59.6% to $46.3m. Red Hat recorded earnings per diluted share of $0.06. Revenue from subscriptions increased 87.3% to $34.9m while services grew 10.4% to $11.3m.
For the six-month period, Red Hat saw net income increase 385.4% to $22.7m while total revenue grew 59.9% to $88m, with an EPS of $0.12.
