Research Machines Ltd, the leading supplier of micros to the UK edu-cation market, has reported pre-tax profits for the year to September 30 1987 up 41.7% at ?1.26m, in spite of heavy costs relating to the introduction of new machines, lined up for next week’s Which Computer? Show including RM Networks, a local area network for business users of its Nimbus range, and enhanced versions of the AX and VX systems with IBM VGA graphics.
