RTS Realtime Systems Group, a provider of trading software for major financial institutions, banks, locals, proprietary traders and brokers, has connected to the London Metal Exchange (LME).
In order to manage the risk of future price movements in non-ferrous metals, RTS says it is offering a professional trading platform, the RTD Realtime Trading Desktop.
With special designed futures and options functionality in combination with an integrated risk & vola management tool, RTS says its solution will offer traders highly sophisticated trading functionality.
Steffen Gemuenden, deputy CEO of RTS, commented: With the addition of LME we continue to give our customers access to an ever more varied and complete selection of exchanges. The reality is a trader can now buy and sell financial instruments, energy products and now precious metals all from a single application.
Mr Gemuenden also revealed that the first company to put this live will be Fortis Bank Global Clearing NV.
