Mobile activity around Microsoft CRM 3.0 is rising with the release of Salentica Systems Inc’s Mobile Express real-time mobile add-on designed for the financial services sector.
Building on Microsoft’s own mobile CRM extension, the Salentica offering lets users access and update informaiont held in the CRM system from any mobile device, while updates sent from the mobile client are written directly to the CRM database, eliminating the need for synchronization. As the application acts as an extension to Microsoft’s core offering, it is able to use the CRM security model ensuring users only have access to the information they are entitled to. Vertical market needs are catered for through the Salentica software’s ability to access transactional back-office information such as trades, commissions, and holdings.
The device-independent offering just needs the mobile device to support html web pages and is available as a zero-footprint application.
