Although the investigation has not yet been concluded SAP AG said this week that state prosecutors have cleared company employees of suspicions of insider stock dealings. Members of SAP’s management and supervisory board as well as some employees were under investigation after Germany’s federal supervisory office looked into the possibility of insider trading within the firm in October (CI No 3,155), when more than 100 SAP employees sold their shares just before the company’s stock price plunged 23%.
