Seagate Software Inc has announced version 6.0 of its widely used and widely bundled Crystal Reports query and reporting tool, claiming it’s the first reporting tool built from the ground up for the web, enabling report distribution over intranets or the internet, and integration into web applications. It should be available this quarter for $400, or $200 for upgrades, with a standard edition for data access only likely to cost $150, $80 upgrade.
