Video games systems maker Sega Enterprises Ltd of Tokyo says it will petition for a rehearing in its copyright infringement suit against competitor Accolade Inc, San Jose in their reverse-engineering case: the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ruled that Accolade had the right to disassemble Sega’s Genesis game machine in order to work out how to make games that could run on it.
