Right after the Christmas holidays, Austin, Texas-based SES Inc will unwrap SES/objectbench, an object-oriented analysis tool set for developing object analysis models for technical systems and commercial applications. SES/objectbench currently consists of two products: a graphical modelling tool for creating an object analysis model, and an animated simulator for examining the models’ dynamic behaviour. Another piece, due later in 1993, will do a statistical analysis of model execution. The company says the software is the first Shlaer-Mellor tool set to offer on-screen animation and dynamic checking. It will be available in March on Sparcsystems. Objectbench Graphical Modeling will sell for $4,900 and Animated Simulation for $14,500 per simultaneous user.
