Information Systems Acquisition Corp is requiring a lot of faith from investors in its judgement and ability: the Wayne, Pennsylvania company has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an offer of 2,000 units at a target $6 a time, each unit consisting of one common share and warrants to buy two further shares. The company does not have a business yet – it intends to acquire an operating business in the information systems industry. Safeguard Scientifics Inc, currently the company’s largest shareholder with a 28% stake, will cut its holdings to 5.6% when the offering – via GKN Securities Corp – is completed.
