Marcam Corp, which offers the Prism suite of manufacturing applications for the IBM AS/400, has filed to go public with an initial offer of 1.26m shares with a target price of $13 to $15; the Newton, Massachusetts will use the net proceeds of the offer for working capital and possible acquisitions, but doesn’t say how many of the shares are new – some will be coming from selling shareholders. The managing underwriters for the offering are Hambrecht & Quist Inc and Alex Brown & Sons Inc.
