Among the new offerings at SIGgraph in Anaheim, California this week was a high-end graphics controller board for the MS-DOS world from NEC Corp: the new MultiSync Video Adaptor 1024 features maximum resolution of 1,024 by 768, and includes a TMS 34010 graphics processor from Texas Instruments; it is also compatible with IBM’s EGA and PGA boards, and software drivers are available for Windows, GEM, PGL, CGI, and DGIS, and NEC claims it is the only board to have this range of compatibility and features; it will be available in September for a price pitched under $1,300.
