Dutch company Simac Techniek NV has come up with what it claims is an answer to the problem of uncontrolled disk growth space on Windows NT servers. SpaceGuard provides a tool that enables network controllers to enforce a limit on disk space demands. Email and pop-up messages tell users when their limit has been exceeded and the network manager can then deny server access, forcing the user to remove existing files.
