Small and medium businesses deploy Xerox eConcierge, a cloud-based offering that provides easy and convenient monitoring looking to save money and time for them.
Xerox eConcierge is downloaded as a desktop application onto one or more PCs or Macs and the program automatically discovers compatible devices, checking the toner, ink, waste cartridges and fusers.
Users are informed when supplies are needed and an online order is generated, capturing the correct part numbers for the manufacturer’s supplies.
The company also offers an industry exclusive for qualifying customers – a free extended warranty on all Xerox products covered under the program; averaging about $320 per printer, per year.
Businesses across a variety of industries from real estate and engineering to automotive – are experiencing the benefits of Xerox eConcierge, according to Xerox.
Citrus Motors, a California-based car dealer, utilises the program to manage its fleet of colour printers, saving more than $1,000 per year on service costs.
Citrus Motors IT director Phil Collett said like many small businesses Citrus have to use its limited resources wisely and Xerox eConcierge makes that easy to do.
"The program allows us to shift our focus away from maintaining our printers to spending time with our customers. The savings, both in time and money, are definitely a plus for our dealership," said Collett.
