Business intelligence and IT tools to support Climate Protection Partnerships Division of US EPA
Technology and consulting services provider SRA International has won a five-year $42m contract with the US Environmental Protection Agency to support the agency’s Climate Protection Partnerships Division, EPA CPPD.
The company will provide business automation to CPPD and its partners. This will include the provision of IT tools to enable the CPPD to track voluntary partnerships and collect the information that can then be disseminated to the public.
SRA’s team consists of four companies on the contract. ICF will define, document, and translate programmatic requirements, as well as provide business intelligence and statistics and data management support; List Innovative Solutions will provide testing, configuration management, and requirements management support; Lokion Interactive will provide user-centered design, information architecture, multimedia design, accessibility analysis, and other web-related support; and Vistronix will provide customer and helpdesk support services.
SRA has been providing services to EPA since 2001. In June 2008 it won a seven-year $56.5m contract to provide technical and regulatory development services. In May 2008 it won a seven-year $200m contract to enhance the capabilities of the agency’s scientific research arm.
Peter Trick, vice president of environmental and organizational services at SRA, said: We have worked with EPA, integrating data from a variety of CPPD systems into a single, reliable data source. This new blanket purchase agreement will allow us to continue helping EPA transition to new business intelligence and other IT tools that will further evolve and grow their solutions, data, network, and stakeholders.
