SRI International Inc’s David Sarnoff Research Center has developed a new patented Smart Sensing vision technology that enables a computer to recognise images: the technology is based on algorithms that when coupled with an electronic eye, can enable computers to respond intelligently to what they see in real time; it has formed a new company, Sensar Inc, to market products that exploit the new vision technology.
