Cambridge-based Tadpole Technology Plc, which specialises in design and development for the electronics, computing and office automation industries, is embarking on a programme to establish subsidiaries in France and Germany, and to expand its business in the US in preparation for a listing on a recognised Stock Exchange: these plans were unveiled as the company announced strong end of year results with pre-tax profit up 32.5% at UKP461,610 on turnover up 78.2% to UKP4.6m (see page five); in terms of sales, the US accounted for 27% (a fourfold increase over last year’s performance), while the UK accounted for 62%, Europe for 7%, Asia for 4%; the US sales performance reflects the UK group’s acquisition of its US distributor last spring.
