The merger of Tech Mahindra, an India-based provider of information business technology solutions to the telecommunications industry, and IT provider Mahindra Satyam has received regulatory clearance.
The companies said they plan to create a new look and logo reflecting the heritage of the Mahindra Group, while providing services that integrate technology and businesses.
CP Gurnani, managing director at Tech Mahindra, said: "Consumerism across today’s connected world is being fuelled by a convergence of technologies. Our new positioning ‘Connected World. Connected Solutions.’ reflects this business opportunity and reality.
"Our innovative and customer centric offerings integrate technology with business, enabling Enterprises, Associates and the Society to Rise."
The merger of the two companies, first announced in May 2009, was approved by the boards of both companies in March 2012 and had been awaiting clearances from the Indian high courts, which gave the final nod in June 2012.
