Tektronix Inc has acquired a 10% stake in AVS Graphics Ltd (which does business as OmniBus Systems). The two companies have been working together for the past three years on the installation of digital TV facilities, and the deal is designed to enhance what they perceive as their joint leadership in the advanced media management of disk-based TV stations. In addition to the equity investment, Tektronix will provide debt financing to help with OmniBus’ plans for expansion. Financial terms were not disclosed.
