News: First Centurylink now Verizon?
Verizon is looking for buyers for $10bn of assets as it is named as the second US telco to be seeking a strategic exit from the data centre market.

Last week Centurylink said it would seek strategic alternatives to its ownership of 59 data centres it acquired when it bought data centre colo player Savvis.
The potential offloads are being seen as a response to the rise of the web scale cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, Google for Work and AWS>
