But perhaps the US Semiconductor Industry Association – and others wanting to sell there – should take to heart the words of the representative body of the Japanese car components industry, the Japan Auto Parts Industries Association: Motorola and others with offices here are succeeding, but the companies complaining that we don’t buy are the ones that just send pamphlets or letters, or just call up on the phone – they don’t even come here in person to try to make a sale.
