Toshiba Corp reckons it has come up with the first full-blown notebook that weighs less than 2lbs. The Libretto 50CT is about half the size and weight of usual laptops, but still runs Windows 95 and is capable of supporting full color and high-resolution graphics. The only difficulty is that, despite its functionality, the size makes the $2000 machine appear to be competing with limited functionality handhelds such as US Robotics Corp’s Palmpilot, which costs much less at $300.
