Tower Software Engineering Pty Ltd has bought more technology to continue its expansion into the enterprise content management, ECM, market with the purchase for an unspecified price of web content management software from Sydney, Australia-based Rapid Web Solutions.
The acquired technology was developed on Microsoft’s .NET platform, and Tower said it will provide it with software to shorten web site development times and facilitate the addition of content on web sites.
Canberra, Australia-based Tower said that by integrating the new software into its TRIM Context 6 software suite it will be able to match or exceed any other ECM offering.
Privately held Tower had revenue of AUD 27.1m ($20.4m) last year and Harwood said he expects revenue to increase by 30% to 35% in 2006.
Rapid Web Solutions will now refocus its business on service delivery and will join Tower Software’s Partner Program.
