The three US telecommunications companies in the Sinsegi Mobile Communication Co Ltd consortium, which will run South Korea’s second cellular telephone system, will have a combined stake of 22.1%: AirTouch Communications Inc will have an 11.3% stake, Southwestern Bell Corp, 8.3%, and Qualcomm Inc, 2.5%; GTE Corp was to have joined the consortium with a 4% stake, but it dropped out of the agreement in early May, and its share has been distributed equally among the rest.
