According to a report issued by the Electronic Industries Association, which tracks such figures, US factory sales of computers and peripherals reached $22bn for the first quarter, a 7% over the same period a year ago. Total electronics equipment and components sales were $107m for the quarter. Telecommunications products saw a 13% growth to $15.1bn.
